Biodiversity Net Gain

Biodiversity, Biodiversity Net Gain, Sustainability and journey to net zero is now enshrined in both law and social consciousness.

But what does this mean in the real world. Whilst we can do less of something bad, how do we take the step of doing something good. How can this good, such as biodiversity and habitat creation be measured and protected, both in the short term and long term.

There is a legal mechanism to do this, and after an extensive  application process, we are delighted that our sister business, Restoration Soil, has been granted Conservation Covenant body status by DEFRA and the Secretary of State. There are only a handful of bodies that have achieved this status.

The significance of this is that we can legally counterpart, advise and hold to account anyone wishing create long term biodiversity.
