Construction is completely finished now on our Biofilter system we have in place for the IVC building (In Vessel Composting).
The Biofilter will be used for treating any odours that may be generated from the composting process. It has been designed to treat three air exchanges per hour from the composting building to ensure there is no escape of odours from the composting processes. It utilises a wood chip filter media which will sustain a biofilm growth that then will feed on any organic odours extracted from the building.
