Following an extensive period of research, development and operational improvement at our Sandhutton site, we have now achieved our PAS100 certification for green waste compost materials. It is important for us to achieve the highest of standards for all of our materials and PAS100 is a widely recognised standard within the organics recycling sector.
PAS100 accreditation assures the green wastes, including arboricultural and horticultural waste, that we receive, transform and convert at our site in Sandhutton, are no longer classified as a waste prod
uct and are not subject to waste regulatory control. The certified compost products we now produce, can be supplied to a wider range of agricultural customers, successfully reducing and recycling waste for good. Our customers are guaranteed a consistently high quality compost, which can now be used for a wider range of applications across agricultural land.
Our team has worked consistently over the last 18 months to develop the specification of product, screening and site operations and we are delighted to finally have this important certification.
